Meet Jane.
Jane is a graphic designer. Or maybe, a programmer. Maybe she’s a photographer! Or she could be a Social Media Strategist. Or perhaps a web developer. Or, Jane could be something completely different than what I’ve mentioned here.
The point is, Jane is a Winnipeg Freelancer.
As a Freelancer in Winnipeg, Jane gets new clients in one of a few different ways: Word of Mouth, Friends & Family who refer people to her as much as possible, maybe a blog, twitter, or Facebook, or referrals from her regular employee gig J.O.B, or other places that I haven’t mentioned here.
Jane the freelancer finds that because she is a freelancer, a lot of her friends and family don’t get it. they don’t understand what she’s thinking about. This is sometimes frustrating for Jane, and sometimes Jane feels like she’s all alone, in her house, all by herself. Nobody to talk to.
What if I told you, Jane, that there was somewhere you could go? Somewhere that there were other people who were ALSO interested in talking and thinking about Freelancing in Winnipeg.
What if I told you they were there to make new friends, find strategic partners for their businesses, improve the way they talk about their businesses, get known in the community, and most importantly just have fun talking with new people.
